NASCAR’s weekend schedule for Kentucky Speedway

NASCAR heads to Kentucky Speedway this weekend with all three of its national series.

The weekend is capped off by the Cup Series’ Quaker State 400 on Saturday (7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN).

It is preceded by the Xfinity Series on Friday night (8 p.m. ET on NBCSN) and the Camping World Truck Series on Thursday.

Weekend schedule for Cup, Xfinity at Charlotte Motor Speedway

The weekend begins a day early for NASCAR teams this week. Cup and Xfinity teams will be on the track Thursday at Charlotte Motor Speedway in preparation for the weekend races. Those teams are on track Thursday because there is no track activity Friday before the action kicks in with the Xfinity race on Saturday and the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday.

Austin Dillon is the defending winner of the Coca-Cola 600.

NASCAR returns home this weekend for the start of a two-week stretch of racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The Cup Series takes part in its annual All-Star Race and the Camping World Truck Series holds the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 on Friday night.

The Cup cars will have a different package this weekend that includes restrictor plates.
