The week is capped off by the Cup Series’ Quaker State 400 Saturday night.

For tonight’s Truck Series race, wunderground.com forecasts clear skies and a temperature of 84 degrees at the start time.

Friday night, the forecasts is for clear skies and a temperature of 83 degrees for the start of the Xfinity Series race.

For Saturday’s Cup race, the forecast calls for clear skies and a temperature of 87 degrees at the start time.

The NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series make their first return trip to a track this year for a points race when it heads back to Daytona International Speedway this weekend.

The Cup and Xfinity Series will be in action, with Cup teams competing in the Coke Zero 400 Saturday night on NBC.

For Friday’s Xfinity race, wunderground.com forecasts a high of 85 degrees and a 6% chance of rain at the race’s start time.

The forecast for the Cup race is for a high of 82 degrees and a 34% chance of rain at the start time.

The Cup and Gander Outdoors Truck Series will be in action this weekend as Cup competes at Sonoma Raceway in California and the trucks head to World Wide Technology Raceway outside St. Louis, Missouri.

Sonoma represents the first road course race of the season. The Trucks will hold their third and final race of the “Triple Truck Challenge.”

Weekend schedule for NASCAR at Iowa Speedway

With the Cup Series off this weekend, the NASCAR spotlight will shine on Newton, Iowa, where the Xfinity and Gander Outdoor Truck Series will compete at Iowa Speedway.

The Truck Series will have a one-day show Saturday while Xfinity teams race Sunday.

The Truck Series race will be the second round of the Triple Truck Challenge. The race winner will claim a $50,000 bonus.

wunderground.com forecasts a high of 85 degrees Saturday. There is a 40 percent chance of rain at the start of the Truck Series race with a temperature of 77 degrees.

On Sunday, it will be 81 degrees at the start of the Xfinity race with a 10% chance of rain throughout the evening.

All three NASCAR national series will be competing this weekend but they’ll be doing so in two different parts of the country.

Cup and Xfinity Series teams will race at Michigan International Speedway, and the Gander Outdoor Truck Series holds its first standalone weekend of the year at Texas Motor Speedway.

The wunderground.com forecast for this weekend at Michigan calls for high temperatures in the mid to high 70s all weekend. There’s a small chance of rain throughout the weekend.

The wunderground.com forecast for Thursday and Friday at Texas will see high temperatures in the mid to high 80s.
