NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day scheduled for Jan. 20

The annual NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day will return to the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina, next month.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 20, the day after the 2018 Hall of Fame class is inducted.

Fans will be able to take part in an autograph session with current national series drivers, Hall of Famers and members of the NASCAR Next class, as well photo opportunities and question-and-answer sessions with a number of NASCAR legends.

Admission to Hall of Fame will be free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis

Admission to driver autograph sessions is free but will require a ticket for participation. Fans can register for the driver autograph sessions at beginning Saturday, Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. ET. A full driver autograph session schedule will be announced at a later date.

The NASCAR Hall of Fame will hold its annual Fan Appreciation Day on Jan. 21, the day after the Hall of Fame inducts its 2017 class.

Fan Appreciation Day is a free event, but tickets to autograph sessions must be secured in advance. Tickets can be claimed at starting at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday. One fan can claim up to two tickets for one of the seven autograph sessions (one ticket for an individual or two tickets for an individual and their guest).

The day will include Q&A’s with NASCAR drivers and owners that will be followed by the autograph sessions. Q&A sessions are open to all fans.

NASCAR Next drivers and 2017 inductees Rick Hendrick and Mark Martin will also participate in Q&As for every fan in attendance.

Here are the seven autograph sessions. The Q&A sessions begin 30 minutes before each session.

NASCAR’s annual NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day has been scheduled for January 21, 2017, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

The event will feature current national series drivers as well as the NASCAR Next class participating in question-and-answer sessions, signing autographs, and photo opportunities.

Also expected to be a part of the day’s festivities is the NASCAR Hall of Fame unveiling the granite markers for each member of the 2017 class, which will be inducted the night before. Richard Childress, Rick Hendrick, Mark Martin, Raymond Parks, and Benny Parsons will officially take their place in the Hall of Fame on January 20.

Information about the autograph sessions schedule, as well as wristband and ticket information, will be announced at a later date.

When winter storm Jonas swept over the east coast last week, it postponed the NASCAR Hall of Fame induction ceremony by a day and buried Pocono Raceway in snow.

But Jonas also forced the Hall of Fame to reschedule its Fan Appreciation autograph session with NASCAR stars from all three of its national touring series.

The event took place today and here’s how it looked through social media, beginning with Dale Earnhardt Jr.‘s “best buddy.”
