Kyle Larson continues winning ways on dirt with big paycheck

Kyle Larson pocketed $32,000 as the winner of the richest event in USAC NOS Energy Drink National and Western States Midget history on Wednesday night at Placerville (California) Speedway.

Larson collected $20,000 for winning the 100-lap feature and a $12,000 bonus as the points champion of the Hangtown 100.

Larson’s 17th career series win came in his own midget, built by crew chief Paul Silva.

Christopher Bell finished second. NBCSN broadcaster Dillon Welch placed sixth. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was 28th.
