Chase Elliott will Give A Hoot at the Oct. 6 Cup Series playoff race at Dover International Speedway.
It was announced Tuesday afternoon that Elliott’s No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will carry a special pink paint scheme from sponsor Hooters as part of the brand’s “Give A Hoot” campaign.
The campaign will include specially produced pink No. 9 merchandise. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research, which awards 100% of direct donations to cancer research and programs.
Following the race, Hooters will auction off Elliott’s pink racing gloves and shoes, with proceeds also going to The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
Through the Give A Hoot fundraising platform, Hooters has raised nearly $6 million to support breast cancer research.
