Kyle Busch was involved in a multi-car wreck at the onset of the Food City 500.
Daniel Hemric also received damage in the incident.
All drivers were able to continue and Busch was able to bounce back and win the race, leading 71 laps and claiming his third victory of the year.
It is the second consecutive Food City 500 that Busch was involved in a wreck in the first three laps.
Stenhouse would make multiple trips to the garage before finishing 33rd.
Just before the incident involving Busch, Aric Almirola hit the wall after making contact with William Byron. He went to the garage and finished last for his second DNF of the season. He had finished in the top 10 in every race since he Daytona 500.
The race’s second caution came out on Lap 39. Ryan Preece spun exiting Turn 4. Race leader Chase Elliott was running behind him and was turned by Corey LaJoie. Elliott managed to avoid making contact with the inside wall and continued and finished 11th.
Hemric later brought out the caution with eight laps left in the first stage after he was turned from contact with Ross Chastain. He finished 30th.
