With 10 laps remaining, the accordion squeezed. Chase Elliott held the lead over Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson, but Busch closed to within less than .600 seconds. Larson closed in on Busch by the same margin.
Elliott stabilized and then built lead to capture his third career win and the second in Round 2 of the playoffs.
Busch held on to finish second with Larson in third.
Erik Jones and Martin Truex Jr. rounded out the top five.
It appeared Kevin Harvick was set to dominate the second half of the race. He won Stage 2 and had a comfortable lead until he was hit with a speeding penalty halfway through Stage 3.
