CONCORD, N.C. - Austin Dillon, the defending winner of the Coca-Cola 600, fell out of contention early in Sunday’s running of the race.

On Lap 38, Dillon lost his right rear tire and impacted the wall.

After getting his No. 3 Chevrolet worked on on pit road, Dillon returned to the race but was quickly back on pit road for more work on his right rear.
