Kaulig Racing announced a six-race sponsorship with Phantom Fireworks beginning with this weekend’s Xfinity Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Ryan Truex and his No. 11 Chevrolet will be sponsored by Phantom through the July 6 race at Daytona International Speedway.

The No. 11 will carry Phantom’s purple colors at Charlotte, Pocono, Michigan, Iowa, Chicago and Daytona.

The partnership was brokered by team owner Matt Kaulig through his company, Kaulig Companies LLC, which is located 50 miles from the firework company’s headquarters in Youngstown, Ohio.

Phantom operates more than 75 permanent fireworks showrooms in 17 states, and more than 1,200 temporary sales locations in 18 states.

In his first year driving for Kaulig Racing, Truex enters this weekend’s Alsco 300 eighth in the point standings. His best result is seventh at Daytona and Richmond.
