Kevin Harvick passed Martin Truex Jr. with one lap remaining in the KC Masterpiece 400 and earned his fifth victory of the 2018 season.
Truex led 13 laps at the end of the race after staying out on older tires with 20 laps remaining.
Joey Logano also stayed out during the next-to-last caution flag and finished third.
Kyle Larson led a race-high 101 laps but was involved in a late-race accident with Ryan Blaney. He rallied to finish fourth.
The race’s biggest incident was a seven-car accident with 14 laps remaining. In that incident, William Byron got loose under Clint Bowyer, and they collected five other cars.
