Late 14-car crash eliminates Stage 1 winner Brad Keselowski

Jimmie Johnson got loose with just 22 laps to go at Talladega, causing a wreck so big it was easier to say who wasn't involved than who was.

A crash involving 14 cars occurred with 23 laps left in the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.

The crash began in Turn 4 when Jimmie Johnson got loose and was tagged by teammate William Byron.

Drivers involved included Clint Bowyer, Paul Menard, Byron, Brendan Gaughan, Kyle Busch, Johnson, Brad Keselowski, Denny Hamlin, Michael McDowell, Kasey Kahne, Darrell Wallace Jr., Austin Dillon, AJ Allmendinger and Ryan Blaney.

Keselowski (who won Stage 1), Bowyer, Allmendinger, Byron, Dillon and Menard were among those eliminated.

Joey Logano was the leader at the time of the incident.
