The NASCAR Cup Series holds its second short track race of the year with the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Kyle Busch is on the pole for the second time this year with older brother Kurt Busch starting second.

Here is all the important information ahead of the race.

(All times are Eastern)

START: Tim Morgan will give the command to start engines at 1:02 p.m. The green flag is scheduled to wave at 1:08 p.m.

DISTANCE: The race is scheduled for 500 laps (266.5 miles) around the .533-mile track.

STAGES: Stage 1 ends on Lap 125. Stage 2 ends on Lap 250.

PRERACE SCHEDULE: Garage opens at 6 a.m. Driver/crew chief meeting is at 11 a.m. Driver introductions are at 12:20 p.m.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Morgan Myles perform the anthem at 12:56 p.m.

TV/RADIO: Fox will broadcast the race beginning at 1 p.m. Race coverage begins at 12:30 p.m. Performance Racing Network’s radio broadcast begins at noon and also can be heard at goprn.com. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will have PRN’s broadcast.

FORECAST: wunderground.com calls for a high of 69 degrees and a 62 percent chance of thunderstorms at the start of the race. Chance of rain remains above 60 percent until 9 p.m.

LAST TIME: Jimmie Johnson won this race last year over Clint Bowyer and Kevin Harvick. Kyle Busch won last August’s race over Erik Jones and Denny Hamlin.
