NASCAR announces 2019 Cup dates

Plan ahead, NASCAR has issued 2019 dates for Cup races.

No times for events were listed.

The schedule features only weekend Cup races. There are no changes to the order of races compared to this season.

The season begins with the Daytona 500 on Feb. 17. Leading up to the Daytona 500 will be qualifying (Feb. 10), the Clash (Feb. 10) and the duel qualifying races (Feb. 14).

The All-Star Race remains on its own weekend on May 18. The Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway will be May 26.

Daytona’s summer race will be July 6. The Bristol night race will be Aug. 17. The Southern 500 will be Sept. 1.

The regular season will end Sept. 8 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The playoffs begin Sept. 15 at Las Vegas.

The same 10 tracks remain in the playoff as this season and in the same order. The 2019 season will end Nov. 17 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
