Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs from 5-6 p.m. ET on NBCSN and gets the race week started after the first off-weekend of the season.

Carolyn Manno hosts with Kyle Petty and Parker Kligerman from Stamford, Connecticut. Steve Letarte joins them from Burton’s Garage.
What to expect from today’s show:

·  With the first off-weekend complete, NASCAR is set to get back to business. The next big stretch starts this weekend in Texas and continues until the sport comes home to Charlotte for the All-Star Race and the Coca-Cola 600 in May. Our resident crew chief, Steve Letarte, will tell us what the teams are looking to accomplish as the season heads deeper into the spring.

·   Today, we kick off the NBC Sports NASCAR America Fantasy League! See how well you can compete against Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Burton, Steve Letarte, Kyle Petty and the rest of the NASCAR on NBC talent in a 10-week league that starts this weekend at Texas. Enter the league at nascar.com/nbcsportsfantasy, then share your team using #NASCARAmericaFantasy.

·   We also celebrate Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s first Cup Series win, which took place on this day 18 years ago! We go back to 2000 and relive the iconic win at Texas Motor Speedway – which also included a milestone moment for another of NASCAR’s great families.
