NASCAR has one of the longest seasons in all of professional sports. It’s difficult to find time off with 38 race weekends crammed into a 52-week year, but two weekends are sacrosanct.

Brad Keselowski knows why: you don’t mess with momma or Jesus.

Just because NASCAR has given the drivers the weekend off, that doesn’t mean that they won’t find a race, however.

In a car bright enough to be an Easter Egg any child could find, Kasey Kahne headed to Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa. Friday night and finished sixth in a sprint car race.

Saturday night, Kahne will race at Lincoln Speedway in Abbotstown, Pa.

Chase Elliott is watching his Father Bill compete at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Ga. and was reminded that the old man likes to go fast.

But the racing life is not all about speed and travel. The rare off-week is a great time to catch up on chores for Ed Wood.

And AJ Allmendinger? Well, he is probably going to spend most of the weekend simply looking for his cat:
