Crewmember transported to local hospital after pit road incident

JTG Daugherty Racing said that jackman Zack Young has been treated and released from a local hospital after he was hit during a pit stop early in Monday’s Cup race at Martinsville Speedway. No further details were available.

Young was awake and alert when he was transported after being examined in the infield care center.

Young was replaced by teammate AJ Allmendinger’s gasman Evan Marchal.
