Yet another big wreck with 2 laps left sends Daytona 500 into overtime

Yet another “big one” occurred on Lap 198 of Sunday’s Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway.

Kurt Busch was running second when it appeared he lost air off the rear of his car and began to spin, being tapped by Ryan Blaney.

While Blaney was able to continue on after the wreck, the same thing could not be said for several other drivers, including Ryan Newman, Matt DiBenedetto, Alex Bowman, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Brendan Gaughan and Martin Truex Jr.

Because of the wreck and the resulting time to clean up the track surface, the race was sent into overtime.
