The NASCAR Cup points have been reset after Sunday’s race at Phoenix.
Now all that’s left is the championship-deciding and season-ending Ford EcoBoost 400 next Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The four drivers that will race for the championship -- Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex Jr., Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski -- all have 5,000 points each heading into the race.
But there’s still incentive for those drivers that have been eliminated from the playoffs to still finish the season as high as they can at Miami.
That includes fifth through 10th-ranked Chase Elliott (2,338 points), Denny Hamlin (2,321), Matt Kenseth (2,311), Ryan Blaney (2,297), Kyle Larson (2,266) and Jimmie Johnson (2,250).
