On today’s show:

  • Martinsville has set the stage for another action-packed race in the Round of 8 this weekend in the Lone Star State. On today’s show, we’ll put our playoff drivers head-to-head to see who’s got an edge as the series returns to Texas Motor Speedway – a track that still carries lots of unknowns after its repave and reconfiguration.
  • Texas Motor Speedway president Eddie Gossage has plenty to promote after all of the madness at Martinsville. What does one of NASCAR’s great showmen have in store for fans this weekend? And how will his track pay tribute to the retiring Dale Earnhardt Jr.? We’ll talk with him live to find out!
  • Darian Grubb talks with Dave Burns about his new opportunity next season as crew chief for rookie William Byron and the No. 24 team at Hendrick Motorsports.
  • We’ll share another story from one of this year’s finalists for the Comcast Community Champion Award, honoring members of the NASCAR community and their charitable service.
