Kasey Kahne broke a 102-race winless streak Sunday, earning his first career win in the highly-coveted Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Kahne had not won since Atlanta in September 2014. Sunday’s win was the 18th of his NASCAR Cup career, and qualifies him for the upcoming 10-race playoffs.
He got past Brad Keselowski on the final restart and held on as he passed the overtime line just a split-second before a last-lap crash occurred.
