Kyle Busch wins Xfinity pole at Michigan

Kyle Busch, making his first Xfinity start since March 25 at Auto Club Speedway, will start on the pole for today’s race at Michigan International Speedway. This is Busch’s third pole of the year.

Busch seeks his 88th career series win and second of the season today. He won the pole with a lap of 193.564 mph. Joey Logano owns the track record, set in 2015, at 193.637 mph.

Brad Keselowski, who won last weekend’s Xfinity race at Pocono, starts second after a lap of 193.434 mph. He was followed by JR Motorsports teammates Elliott Sadler (193.283 mph) and William Byron (193.169). Denny Hamlin (192.647) will start fifth.

The series races at 1:30 p.m. ET.
