Ryan Blaney continues Texas domination with Stage 2 win

After a debris caution led to a three-lap shootout, Ryan Blaney won the second stage of the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. His No. 21 Ford also won the first stage.

The Wood Brothers Racing driver became the third NASCAR Cup driver this season to win the first two stages of a race, joining Martin Truex Jr. (Las Vegas) and Kevin Harvick (Atlanta).

The top 10 after 170 laps: Blaney, Jimmie Johnson, Jamie McMurray, Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, Kurt Busch, Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Martin Truex Jr.

Blaney led every green-flag lap in the second stage and has led 146 laps so far. Martin Truex Jr. led five laps during two cautions.

There are 164 laps left in the race.
