Kyle Larson can put pedal to metal, but forget about putting up his dukes

Kyle Larson will never be confused with Floyd Maywether, Mike Tyson or even Kyle Busch -- off the track, that is.

In other words, Larson will let his driving do his talking, not his fists.

During a media session Friday at Phoenix Raceway, Larson was asked his thoughts about last weekend’s post-race altercation at Las Vegas between Kyle Busch and Joey Logano – and whether he might do the same thing if he was put in the same position.

Not likely, Larson quipped.

“Look how big I am?” Larson laughed. “I can’t do that. (Logano) has got probably about two feet longer reach on me too.

“But I’m not the fighting type. I don’t think I’ve ever been mad enough that I have ever wanted to punch somebody. Mainly probably because I’m scared that I am the one that is going to get beat up.”
