Christopher Bell on Saturday earned the first Truck Series victory ever at Atlanta Motor Speedway for Kyle Busch Motorsports, capturing the Active Pest Control 200.
While Bell’s boss, Kyle Busch, was hoping to make it two wins in a row — he won the Xfinity Series race earlier in the day — such would not be the case as Busch lost a tire late in the race and finished 26th.
It was Bell’s third career Truck Series win in 32 starts.
