Kevin Harvick will lead the field to green for Sunday’s Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway after earning his 18th career pole. He’ll be joined on the front row by the Chevrolet of Ryan Newman.
Fords took four of the top six spots with Harvick (first), Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (fourth), Brad Keselowski (fifth) and Joey Logano (sixth). Kyle Busch, who is starting third, was the only Toyota in the top eight.
Daytona 500 winner Kurt Busch qualified 13th.
