Today’s Xfinity Series start time info: TV, weather and more

The Xfinity Series gets its 2017 season underway today with the PowerShares QQQ 300 at Daytona International Speedway.

Here’s all the information you need before the start of the race on Fox Sports 1.

(All times are Eastern)

START: The command to start engines will be given at 3:37 p.m. The green flag is scheduled for 3:49 p.m.

DISTANCE: The race is scheduled for 120 laps (300 miles) around the 2.5-mile track.

PRERACE SCHEDULE: The Xfinity garage opens at 9 a.m. The driver/crew chief meeting is at 12:10 p.m. Driver introductions are at 3 p.m.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Melisa TenBroeck, a Daytona Beach native, will perform the National Anthem at 3:31 p.m.

TV/RADIO: Fox Sports 1 will broadcast the race with its coverage beginning at 3:30 p.m. Motor Racing Network’s radio broadcast begins at 3 p.m. and also can be heard at mrn.com. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will have MRN’s broadcast.

FORECAST: The wunderground.com site predicts a temperature of 79 degrees with a zero percent chance of rain at the start of the race.

LAST TIME: Chase Elliott earned his first NASCAR win on a restrictor-plate track when he beat out Joey Logano to the finish line. Elliott led 19 laps, including the final 14, on the way to his fifth Xfinity win.
