Joey Gase won’t just have a handful of Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races to look forward to this year.
Gase told frontstretch.com that he will once again be competing full-time in the Xfinity Series this season.
Gase, 24, returns to the No. 52 at Jimmy Means Racing, who he has raced for since 2012. All but 10 of his Xfinity starts have been with Jimmy Means Racing.
The native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will also be making his Daytona 500 debut next week, the first of three Cup Series races he’s set to compete in for BK Racing in the No. 23. He will also start in the Bristol Motor Speedway night race and at Kentucky Speedway.
Gase has 13 Cup starts, with six coming last year with Go Fas Racing. His best result in the Xfinity Series is a fifth-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway in 2015.
