Brennan Poole fastest in Xfinity practice; Kyle Busch second

AVONDALE, Ariz. -- Brennan Poole turned the best lap (134.098 mph) in the final Xfinity Series practice Friday at Phoenix International Raceway.

Kyle Busch, who is aiming for this third consecutive Xfinity win at Phoenix, ranked second at 133.670 mph, followed by Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Erik Jones, the highest-ranked Chase contender.

How the rest of the playoff drivers qualified for the cutoff race that will determine the championship four for the Nov. 19 finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway:

--Brendan Gaughan, fourth;

--Justin Allgaier, sixth;

--Daniel Suarez, eighth;

--Darrell Wallace Jr., 10th;

--Ryan Reed, 13th;

--Elliott Sadler, 14th;

--Blake Koch, 20th
