Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs from 5:30 – 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN and reviews all the action from Texas Motor Speedway.

On today’s show, we’ll break down Carl Edwards‘ big win in the AAA Texas 500. Edwards rebounded from a 36th-place finish at Martinsville Speedway, which put him outside of a transfer spot on the Chase grid, to earning a spot competing for the championship.

With Edwards now locked into the Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway along with Jimmie Johnson that leaves just three spots to be filled this weekend at Phoenix Raceway.

Those on the outside looking in include the Phoenix dominator, Kevin Harvick, as well as two Joe Gibbs Racing cars (Matt Kenseth and Denny Hamlin), and Kurt Busch.
