Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs from 7- 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Carolyn Manno hosts with Jeff Burton in Stamford, Connecticut, while Kyle Petty joins them from Burton’s Garage.

On today’s show:

  • Sunday’s Chase Race at Martinsville was not without controversy.  We take a deeper look at the Lap 357 caution that lasted 29 laps, including if NASCAR was in the right to resist red-flagging the race.
  • It might be safe to say Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin have started a bit of a rivalry, after bumping each other this weekend.  Could this spill over to Texas this weekend?
  • Should Jimmie Johnson go on to win this year’s championship, he would join a very elite club of winning 7.  This club includes Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt, Sr.
  • Today’s Social Pit Stop with a Halloween twist: Driver and crew tweets celebrating the holiday.
  • Finally, we end our show with a look ahead to Texas: could this be Kevin Harvick’s weekend?
