Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs from 6 – 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN and continues to break down the first race of the second round of the Chase.

Carolyn Manno hosts with Parker Kligerman in Stamford, Connecticut. Kyle Petty and Ray Evernham join them from NBC Charlotte.

In today’s episode:

· We talk to Darrell Wallace Jr. He’s done well at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the past, but how will he approach his first elimination race this weekend in the Xfinity Chase?

· The first two races in the Round of 12 are on 1.5-mile tracks. Which of the 12 remaining Chasers will benefit from this part of the playoff schedule? Kligerman, Petty and Evernham break down the field and discuss who is in the best position to succeed in the next two weeks.

· Kligerman jumps in the Bass Pro Shops Race Simulator to take some laps around Charlotte Motor Speedway. He’ll show the challenges drivers will face and the unique aspects of one NASCAR’s signature venues.
