The Xfinity Series competes in its second race in the opening round of the Chase today at Dover International Speedway. Only Elliott Sadler has secured a spot in the next round after his win last weekend at Kentucky Speedway.
Here’s all the important info for today’s race.

START: Corporal Theresa Bloodsworth, Milford, Delaware, Police Department, will give the command to start engines at 2:58 p.m. The green flag is scheduled for 3:06 p.m.
DISTANCE: The race is scheduled for 200 laps (200 miles) around the 1-mile track.
PRERACE SCHEDULE: The Xfinity garage opens at 8 a.m. The driver/crew chief meeting is at 1:15 p.m. Driver introductions are at 2:25 p.m.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: Andy Tongren, Young Rising Sons, will perform the National Anthem at 2:52 p.m.
TV/RADIO: NBCSN will broadcast the race with its coverage beginning at 2:30 p.m. with Countdown to Green, followed by race coverage at 3 p.m. Motor Racing Network’s radio broadcast begins at 2:30 p.m. and also can be heard at mrn.com. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will have MRN’s broadcast.
FORECAST: The wunderground.com site predicts a temperature of 72 degrees at race time with a 42 percent chance of rain at the start of the race.
LAST TIME: Erik Jones won this race in May. Darrell Wallace Jr. was second and Alex Bowman third. In this event a year ago, Regan Smith led the final 80 laps to win. Denny Hamlin was second; Kyle Busch third.
