Kyle Larson leads first Sprint Cup practice at Dover

Kyle Larson was the fastest in the first Sprint Cup practice session at Dover International Speedway for the Citizen Soldier 400.

Larson put up a speed of 165.578 mph during his 25 laps around the 1-mile track.

Larson has posted the fastest speed in six of seven practice sessions in the Chase so far.

Filling out the top five in the session was Carl Edwards (165.122), Matt Kenseth (164.775), Ryan Newman (164.511) and Jimmie Johnson (164.301).

The most laps in the session were recorded by Kyle Busch (60) who had the best 10-lap average at 159.336 mph.
