NASCAR announced that John Hunter Nemechek‘s truck failed inspection after Saturday’s Camping World Truck Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

NASCAR stated that Nemechek’s truck failed heights after the race. Any penalties will be announced this week.

Nemechek finished ninth. He spun while trying to get underneath Kaz Grala and finished the race with a left rear tire rub after contact with Ben Rhodes in the final laps.

Nemechek is fourth in the standings with 2030 points. The top six advance to the second round of the inaugural Truck Chase. Nemechek is five points ahead of Ben Kennedy, the first driver outside a transfer spot.
