Erik Jones completed a sweep of the Xfinity Series’ two practice sessions at Kentucky Speedway.
Jones put up a top speed of 188.022 mph in the final session. The No. 1 seed in the inaugural Xfinity Chase led Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Matt Tiff (186.477), Sam Hornish Jr. (186.079), Austin Cindric (184.024) and Daniel Suarez (183.811).
Cindric drove the No. 22 in place of Ryan Blaney who will be the only Sprint Cup driver in the field on Saturday.
Jones, Tifft and Suarez also had the top three 10-lap averages.
