Kyle Larson was the fastest driver in the first Sprint Cup practice at New Hampshire for the Bad Boy Off Road 300.

Larson put down a top speed of 135.941 mph.

The No. 42 continues the speed it showed at Chicagoland Speedway where it led two of three practice sessions.

Larson was followed by Chase Elliott (135.893), Kevin Harvick (135.757), Carl Edwards (135.738) and Martin Truex Jr. (135.709).

Kasey Kahne and Danica Patrick were the only drivers to run 10 consecutive laps.

Alex Bowman, driving the No. 88 of Dale Earnhardt Jr., recorded the most laps at 34.

The session was red flagged once with about 10 minutes left when Austin Dillon, a Chase driver, lost control of his No. 3 Chevrolet and hit the wall in Turn 1. Dillon will go to a backup car for the rest of the weekend.
