The No. 2 team Xfinity Series team from Richard Childress Racing has been issued a written warning from NASCAR after failing template inspection three times during pre-race inspection at Chicagoland Speedway.

It is their first written warning. Paul Menard drove the car to a sixth-place finish in Saturday’s Drive for Safety 300.

In the Camping World Truck Series, Kyle Busch’s winning truck from last Friday night was issued a P2 penalty after failing post-race height measurements. Busch has been docked 10 championship owner points while crew chief Wes Ward has been fined $6,000 and placed on probation until Dec. 31.
