All three NASCAR national series are in action this weekend with events at both New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Kentucky Speedway.

The Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck Series visit the ‘Magic Mile’ while the Xfinity Series kicks off their Chase for the Championship at Kentucky Speedway. There will be no change in tire setup for the Cup Series, but the Trucks will see new right-side tire codes at New Hampshire.

At Kentucky, the Xfinity Series will also see a change in right-side tire codes for their second trip to the repaved and reconfigured 1.5-mile track.

CAMPING WORLD TRUCK AND SPRINT CUP TIRE INFO:

Set limits: Sprint Cup - five sets for practice and qualifying and seven sets for the race; Camping World Truck - five sets for the event

Tire Codes: Left-side -- D-4564; Right-side -- D-4706

Tire Circumference: Left-side -- 87.64 in. (2,226 mm); Right-side -- 88.15 in. (2,239 mm)

Minimum Recommended Inflation: Left Front -- 12 psi; Left Rear -- 12 psi; Right Front -- 30 psi; Right Rear -- 27 psi

Teams in both the Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck Series will run the same tire setup at New Hampshire this weekend. This is the same combination of left and right-side tires that Sprint Cup and Xfinity teams ran at this track in July. These teams have run this left-side tire (D-4564) at New Hampshire since 2012.

For Camping World Truck teams, this is the first time they have run this right-side tire (D-4706). Compared to what was run at New Hampshire last year, this right-side features a construction change to bring it into line with what is run by NASCAR teams at Phoenix International Raceway and Richmond International Raceway. There was also a compound change to give the trucks more grip and introduce more wear over the course of a run.

As on most NASCAR ovals one-mile or less in length, teams will not run inner liners in their tires at New Hampshire.

XFINITY SERIES TIRE INFO:

Set limits: eight sets for the event

Tire Codes: Left-side -- D-4688; Right-side -- D-4714

Tire Circumference: Left-side -- 87.56 in. (2,224 mm); Right-side -- 88.46 in. (2,247 mm)

Minimum Recommended Inflation: Left Front -- 25 psi; Left Rear -- 25 psi; Right Front -- 54 psi; Right Rear -- 50 psi

These teams ran this left-side tire code (D-4688) at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Kentucky Speedway earlier this season, but this is the first time they have run this right-side code (D-4714). Compared to what was run at Kentucky in July, this right-side tire features a minor construction change and a compound change to be more heat resistant.

As on all NASCAR ovals greater than one-mile in length, teams are required to run liners in all four tire positions at Kentucky. Air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
