Ty Dillon offers a frank assessment of his 11th-place finish at Chicagoland and says that he and his Richard Childress Racing team have to put something together before Kentucky in order to compete with the lead pack.
“Your last race before you start the Chase, you want to have a good run,” he said. “We ran sixth, seventh all day. That was executing. We had a couple of slower stops, and I made a mistake on the restart. We’ve got to have better speed. If we don’t get better speed, we’re not going to make it very far in the Chase.”
