Kyle Larson, Kevin Harvick pace second Sprint Cup practice

Kyle Larson posted the fastest lap in Saturday morning’s Sprint Cup practice session at Chicagoland Speedway, and Kevin Harvick had the best average over 10 consecutive laps.

Larson led the way with a lap of 185.995 mph. He was followed by Kurt Busch (185.778 mph), Joey Logano (185.211), Carl Edwards (185.198), and Martin Truex Jr. (185.103).

Harvick had the best average over 10 consecutive laps at 182.520 mph. He was followed by Jimmie Johnson (181.921 mph), Matt Kenseth (181.646), Austin Dillon (181.354) and Ryan Newman (181.156). Eighteen of the 40 drivers in Sunday’s race ran at least 10 consecutive laps in the session.
