Chris Buescher, Chase Elliott, Austin Dillon, and Jamie McMurray complete Chase field

The 16-driver Chase field is set.

Denny Hamlin won for the third time this year after leading 189 laps in the Federated Auto Parts 400, the last race before the playoffs begin next Sunday at Chicagoland Speedway. Chris Buescher, Chase Elliott, Austin Dillon, and Jamie McMurray were the final four drivers to lock in their Chase spots.

Here is the 2016 Chase field:

Brad Keselowski (four wins) – making his fifth Chase appearance; Keselowski won the 2012 championship. He began his championship season with a win at Chicago.

Kyle Busch (four wins) – making his ninth Chase appearance; looking to become the first repeat champion since Jimmie Johnson in 2009 and 2010.

Denny Hamlin (three wins) – making his 10th Chase appearance; best Chase finish was second in 2010. Hamlin is the defending winner at Chicago.

Kevin Harvick (two wins) – making his 10th Chase appearance; Harvick won the 2014 championship

Carl Edwards (two wins) – making his 10th Chase appearance; best Chase finish was second in 2008 and 2011

Martin Truex Jr. (two wins) – making his fourth Chase appearance; best Chase finish was fourth in 2015. First season Truex has won multiple races.

Matt Kenseth (two wins) – making his 12th Chase appearance; best Chase finish was second in 2006 and 2013

Jimmie Johnson (two wins) – the six-time champion (2006-2010 and 2013) is making his 13th Chase appearance as the only driver to have qualified every season

Joey Logano (one win) – making his fourth Chase appearance; best Chase finish was fourth in 2014

Kurt Busch (one win) – making his 10th Chase appearance; Busch won the 2004 championship

Kyle Larson (one win) – making his first Chase appearance and is the first driver from Chip Ganassi Racing to qualify for the playoffs via a win.

Tony Stewart (one win) – making his ninth Chase appearance; Stewart won the 2005 and 2011 championship. Qualified for the Chase after missing the first eight races of the season.

Chris Buescher (one win) – making his first Chase appearance and is the first driver to qualify for the playoffs for Front Row Motorsports.

Chase Elliott – making his first Chase appearance

Austin Dillon – making his first Chase appearance

Jamie McMurray – making his second Chase appearance; best Chase finish was 13th in 2015

The 10-race playoffs begin at Chicagoland Speedway on Sept. 18 with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400. It can be seen on NBCSN at 2:30 p.m. ET.
