Watch NASCAR America at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN: Concussion feature, IndyCar CEO Mark Miles

Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs from 6 - 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN and previews this weekends race at Michigan International Speedway and brings you a special feature on concussions, which has sidelined Dale Earnhardt Jr. since July.

Krista Voda hosts with Parker Kligerman and Kyle Petty in Stamford, Connecticut.

What to expect on today’s show:

-- We preview Michigan International Speedway, one of the fastest tracks on the circuit, and look back at the June race.
-- Hear a portion of Jimmie Johnson’s interview on the NASCAR on NBC podcast followed by a discussion about his season and Hendrick Motorsports’ struggles.
-- Part one of a in-depth feature on concussions.
-- Interview with IndyCar CEO Mark Miles about the 2017 schedule, which was announced today.
-- Preview of the Xfinity Series race at Road America, the last of three road courses in four races.
