NASCAR’s weekend schedule for Michigan International Speedway, Road America

All three NASCAR national touring series will be in action this weekend, but they’ll be in different states.

The Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck Series are in Brooklyn, Michigan, at Michigan International Speedway. Meanwhile, the Xfinity Series concludes it stretch of three road courses in four weeks with a visit to Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.

Here’s the schedules for each track with TV and radio times.

MICHIGAN INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

Friday, Aug. 26

9 a.m. – 7 p.m. – Sprint Cup garage open

10:30 a.m. – 7 p.m – Truck garage open

Noon – 1:25 p.m. – Sprint Cup practice (NBCSN, Motor Racing Network)

1:30 – 2:55 p.m. – Truck practice (Fox Sports 2)

4 – 4:55 p.m. – Final Truck practice (FS2)

5:15 p.m. Sprint Cup qualifying; multi-car/three rounds (NBCSN, NBC Sports App, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)

Saturday, Aug. 27

6:30 a.m.  – Truck garage opens

6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Sprint Cup garage open

8:30 – 9:25 a.m. Sprint Cup practice (CNBC, MRN)

9:45 a.m. – Truck qualifying; single vehicle/two rounds (Fox Sports 1)

11:15 a.m. – Truck driver-crew chief meeting

11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. – Final Sprint Cup practice (CNBC, MRN)

12:30 p.m. – Truck driver introductions

1:00 p.m.  – Careers for Veterans 200 Truck race; 100 laps, 200 miles (FS1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)

Sunday, Aug. 28

8 a.m. – Sprint Cup garage open

Noon – Driver-crew chief meeting

1:30 p.m. – Driver introductions

2 p.m. – Pure Michigan 400; 200 laps, 400 miles (NBCSN, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)

ROAD AMERICA

Friday, Aug. 26

7 a.m. – 8 p.m. – Xfinity garage open

10 – 10:55 a.m. – Xfinity practice (No TV)

noon – 1:25 p.m. – Final Xfinity practice (No TV)

6:35 p.m. – Xfinity qualifying; multi-car/two rounds (NBCSN)

Saturday, Aug. 27

Noon – Xfinity garage open

1 p.m. – Driver-crew chief meeting

2:30 p.m. – Driver introductions

3 p.m. – Road America 180;  45 laps/182.6 miles (NBCSN, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)
