Justin Allgaier, Brandt show off the company’s roots with Darlington throwback

Justin Allgaier

Justin Allgaier’s No. 7 Chevrolet will feature the original name and logo of sponsor company BRANDT Professional Agriculture for the Sept. 3 Xfinity Series race at Darlington Raceway.

Allgaier’s JR Motorsports car will feature the “Brandt’s Fertilizer” logo on top of the cherry red paint job that was part of the company’s founding in 1953.

“I’m really looking forward to running this paint scheme next weekend at Darlington,” said Allgaier. “The Brandt family has been very special to me over the years. Growing up just down the road from their headquarters in Springfield, Illinois, I’ve seen this company grow and I think this car truly embodies its history. Hopefully we can run up front with it and get to Victory Lane.”

Allgaier’s paint scheme joins those of Darrell Wallace Jr., Blake Koch, Ryan Reed, Ryan Sieg and Jeremy Clements for the Sept. 3 race, which can be seen on NBC.
