Michael Annett will not compete in tonight’s Bass Pro Shops/NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway due to flu-like symptoms.

HScott Motorsports made the announcement on Twitter and said Justin Allgaier would drive the No. 46 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet in Annett’s place. Annett entered the weekend 37th in the point standings and had qualified 39th for tonight’s race.

With the driver change, Allgaier will drop to the rear of the field.

Allgaier is a former HScott Motorsports driver, having driven for the organization in 2014-2015. His career-best finish in the Sprint Cup Series came at Bristol in April of 2015 when he scored an eighth-place finish.

This year, Allgaier has been running full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports. On Friday night, Allgaier finished second in the Food City 300.
