A golden opportunity awaits Xfinity Series drivers Saturday afternoon at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

The stand-alone event will see just one Sprint Cup Series regular (Ryan Blaney) in the field, stacking the deck in favor of an Xfinity Series driver to get to victory lane. And there are four drivers in particular who are eager to end winless droughts.

The good news? Two of them have won at a road course in the past.

Ty Dillon has the longest winless drought at 67 races. The Richard Childress Racing driver has not won since he scored his first career victory at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in July of 2014.

Dillon enters the weekend third in points and with one top-five finish (third in 2015) in two starts at Mid-Ohio. Last weekend, Dillon finished 11th at Watkins Glen International.

Justin Allgaier returned to the Xfinity Series this year with JR Motorsports and is looking to break back into victory lane. Between 2010 and 2012, Allgaier won three races while driving for Roger Penske and Steve Turner.

His last win, in Montreal in 2012, was 64 races ago. Allgaier enters Mid-Ohio fifth in points and finished eighth in his only start at the track in 2013.

Brendan Gaughan is at 59 races since his last win at Kentucky Speedway in September of 2014. The elder statesmen of Richard Childress Racing, Gaughan won two races that year with the first coming on the road course at Road America. Gaughan sits sixth in points entering Saturday’s race.

Lastly, Ryan Reed will look for his second career win 52 races after scoring his first at Daytona International Speedway in February of 2015. Roush Fenway Racing has been winless this year, and Reed has struggled with just three top-10 finishes. He enters Mid-Ohio sitting 10th in points.
