Kyle Busch is the leader at the halfway point of Cheez-It 355 at Watkins Glen International.

Busch took the lead on Lap 45, halfway through the 90-lap race, when Danica Patrick made her second pit stop. Patrick led the previous 11 laps.

The top 10 at halfway is Busch, Brad Keselowski, Clint Bowyer, David Ragan., Matt Kenseth, Martin Truex Jr., Matt DiBenedetto, Kevin Harvick, Paul Menard and Denny Hamlin.

There has been one caution so far for debris.

Drivers called for pit road penalties before halfway: Kasey Kahne, pole-sitter Carl Edwards, Ryan Blaney, Aric Almirola, AJ Allmendinger, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Joey Logano.

Edwards led the first 25 laps of the race. After his first pit stop, he was called for an outside tire violation, which resulted in a pass through penalty. The pole-sitter now runs in 14th.

Logano led seven laps before pitting and being called for speeding and runs 20th.

Gordon is 12th after pitting early to repair nose damage from running into the back of and spinning Austin Dillon in the inner loop on Lap 3. Gordon was then called for speeding.

Tony Stewart started third and fell from sixth to the 16th after he wheel hopped and missed the inner loop on Lap 10.
