Joey Logano led for 66 laps and cruised to victory at Watkins Glen for his 26th career win.

Joey Logano led 67 laps and fended off his own teammate in order to win the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International and give Team Penske its first Xfinity Series win since 2015 and its first in 21 starts.

Logano led the final 27 laps, including a restart, in order to give himself back-to-back Xfinity wins and his third straight NASCAR win at the road course.

“I tried really, really hard,” Logano told NBC Sports. “Brad was I think faster than me, but I remember last year whoever was behind me was faster because of the draft. It was a lot of fun racing there with Brad (Keselowski).

Logano beat Keselowski to the lead on a restart with 21 to go, and after Keselowski hounded him for more than 12 laps, Keselowski dropped to the pits with a broken track bar and finished 24th.

“I was running as hard as could without making mistakes. Awesome getting this win for Team Penske,” Logano said. “It’s been a long time coming for the Xfinity team here...getting the No. 12 group together that doesn’t race very often.”

It’s the first Xfinity win for Team Penske since Brad Keselowski won at Texas Motor Speedway last November.

The top five was filled out by Paul Menard, Kyle Larson, Daniel Suarez and Trevor Bayne.

HOW JOEY LOGANO WON: The No. 12 outmaneuvered Brad Keselowski on a restart with 21 laps to go and kept the lead to the finish.

Ryan Reed finished ninth for his third top 10 in six races after not earning one between his win at Daytona in February 2015 and last month’s Daytona race. ... Scott Heckert finished 16th and on the lead lap in his second career Xfinity start.

WHO HAD A BAD DAY: Kyle Busch was running in second when a caution came out for debris on Lap 10. Busch pitted twice under yellow for a broken splitter. … Busch was then involved in a crash in the esses during a Lap 18 restart that collected eight cars, including Blake Koch and Darrell Wallace Jr. Busch finished 37th. ... Erik Jones ran out of gas on Lap 52 and stalled on the track, causing a caution. Jones finished 12th. … Ty Dillon was called for a pit line violation as the caution for Jones came out. Dillon finished 11th.

NOTABLE: The race was red-flagged for 14 minutes following an eight-car crash on Lap 19. ... Kyle Busch’s Xfinity Series win streak was snapped at three for the seventh time in his career.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “All I see is we have bad luck and it is getting old, my friend. It is unfortunate for my team. We come here and I messed up on the first lap in the first practice we had and then we were sitting pretty for the rest of the weekend. It is just getting old.” - Darrell Wallace Jr. after being involved in an eight-car wreck on Lap 19.
