Stremme won the Mrs. North Carolina crown May 29 to compete in the national event. Victory Junction Gang Camp was her platform. An advocate for disabled children, she had a sister born with severe medical complications and eventually became wheelchair bound. Upon her sister’s passing, Ashley Stremme became passionate about helping children live without limitations.
She earned a B.A. in Information Technology Leadership from Washington & Jefferson College. She has done broadcasting work and appears with David Stremme on Motor Racing Network’s show “Slinging Dirt” and she has co-hosted MRN’s “Winged Nation” show.
David Stremme raced in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series from 2005-14. He competed 200 races with a top finish of eighth in the spring 2007 Talladega race for Chip Ganassi Racing. David Stremme also competed in 146 Xfinity races from 2003-08 and in 2011. He finished a career-high second three times in that series (Milwaukee in 2004, Talladega in 2008 and Nashville in 2008). He ran in four Camping World Truck Series races between 2006-11 with a best finish of ninth at Bristol in 2008.
