Greg Biffle announced on Twitter that his father, Garland Jack Biffle, passed away Tuesday morning.

Said Biffle in his tweet: “He taught me (so) much in life and I will miss him greatly.’'

His father introduced Biffle to motorcycles at age 4. Biffle went on to a racing career that sees him in his 14th full-time season in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Biffle has won 19 Cup races and also is a former champion in the NASCAR Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series.

“I’ve just got so many memories of doing stuff growing up with my dad, whether it was fishing or riding a motorcycle,” Biffle said in a 2012 interview with SB Nation.
