Leaving the New Hampshire 301, Kevin Harvick kept his Sprint Cup points lead. Harvick is 14 points ahead of Brad Keselowski.
Dale Earnhardt Jr., who missed the race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway for concussion symptoms, fell two spots to 15th.
That leaves him 14 points ahead of Trevor Bayne in 16th, which is the last eligible spot for the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
After finishing second, Tony Stewart moved up two spots in the standings to 28th.
